The restaurant has been organized around a sequence of spaces, beginning with a long patio along the main façade which acts as a buffer space to the street, followed in the interior by a long bar which runs the length of the restaurant and also protects the main salon- the heart of the restaurant- from the impact of the street environment. At one end of this main space a semi open kitchen has been located and at the opposite end of the space a more intimate dining room has been located. The primary materials used throughout the space include rough finished concrete, steel, ceramic tiles, corrugated steel and glass.

Since opening in 2006, Market has become one of the most successful restaurants in the city and in 2011 the specialty magazine “Quintessentially” named Market one of the ten best restaurants opened in the world in the previous ten years.
